Hi and welcome to my tutorial page.
The intention of this page is to contain tutorials, tips and other material for educational purposes.
I intend to cover various topics such as:
- the basic principles of music theory
- a variety of guitar techniques
- FX functionality and configuration ideas
- Recording / Studio tips and pointers
- stuff that I've not yet thought of
The information within this page will cover a wide range of difficulty levels from novice through to advanced topics.
Hopefully there will be something of interest to everyone.
Please note that, like the rest of this site, this page is an on going evolutionary thing and will develop over time,
gradually adding more and more topics and tutorials.
A note to those of you that are interested in this sort of thing:
If you find that the topic you are looking for is not covered,
feel free to contact me and / or keep checking this page - as it may show up.
The music theory tutorials are sequential, and therefore numbered.
This numbering provides a "running order" as each tutorial builds upon the last.
Following the tutorials in the correct sequence will therefore be of most benefit to those new to music theory.
Disclaimer and get out of jail free card:
To the best of my knowledge and checking, all of the information here is correct.
If there are mistakes that have slipped through my net, please point them out to me as you encounter them.
I can then make the appropriate corrections.
I will endeavour to maintain the highest possible standards that I can achieve,
which is ultimately in the greatest interests of us all..
